Speaker Bios: Kaulana Seto is a Senior Associate with World Financial Group where he educates and implements the best strategies to help families and professionals achieve their financial goals and make their dreams a reality. A native of the Hawaiian Islands, Kaulana learned from a young age to work hard and take care of his ʻohana. To achieve this, he proceeded on a path not yet traveled by his family. After having obtained his Bachelor’s degree from Cal State Long Beach, he attended the USC School of Dentistry where he earned his Doctorate in Dental Surgery. This dental background has allowed him to have a keen eye to detail knowing how to diagnose, educate and treat the concerns of each client he is able to assist. Where he once helped families with their health, he now helps them with their wealth.
Scott Mahkorn has been working in the financial industry for more than a decade. He is currently a fully licensed advisor and senior marketing director with the brokerage Transamerica Financial. He loves assisting individuals and families to build comprehensive financial plans and portfolios to help them achieve their financial goals. He currently lives in Torrance with his wife and 4 kids and enjoys traveling with his family.
