Course Synopsis: Learn how to start a practice from the experts. This seminar will focus on educating association dentists on how to approach starting their first dental practice. The speakers are experts in their various fields and will provide detailed information on each step of the start-up process, including identifying and securing a location, obtaining financing, design, construction, equipment, legal, and technology.

Speaker Bios: RJ Przebinda is a co-founder and principal with Gold Leaf Group and has been involved with the firm since its inception. In 2003, Przebinda co-founded Gold Leaf Group, a Southern California-based real estate firm dedicated to finding residential, commercial and investment real estate solutions for a select group of clients. Prior to founding Gold Leaf Group, he worked in acquisitions and development at MJW Investments, a Santa Monica-based firm developing a highly-publicized, ten-building, adaptive re-use project in the Fashion District of Downtown Los Angeles. Przebinda serves as a member of the Board of Directors of POLAM Federal Credit Union and is a proud member of the Pasadena Chapter of Bruin Professionals, a networking organization for UCLA Alums. He also participates in fundraising efforts for Ketchum Downtown YMCA in Downtown L.A. In his spare time, Przebinda enjoys cycling, watching international soccer matches and spending time with his wife Sarah and their daughter Maggie.
Levi Barlavi is a Health Law Attorney with Pacific Health Law Group PC. Barlavi is a seasoned transactional attorney, assisting healthcare providers to support their practices from formation through a sale. He works with all types of providers from physicians, dentists, optometrists to veterinarians on single practice formation and disposition to multilocation operations and private equity investments. Barlavi’s areas of practice include: Entity Selection & Operational Agreements, Professional Office Leases & Space Sharing Arrangements, Management Service Agreements & Joint Ventures, and Practice Transitions, Asset Sales, Stock Sales, & Associate Buy-Ins.
